Whats the best or cheapest way to get into solar?

The answer to this really depends on what you want to do.

Lets say you want to do "a little project" head over their now as your in the wrong part of the forum 😊 😊 😊

For home or some where in the home, or as a back up for power outages, or going on a trip... there is a really WIDE area to cover in just a simple answer.

What about solar powered phone charger? Battery maintainer? these are little projects.

Lets look at home power, a bit more meaty. we will say less than 1KW.

You can have the illegal and legal installations... the online china or other with the micro inverters, Id avoid those I have photos... But you can get the Deye micro inverter. or a small string inverter from Growatt or Solis. which every one you pick the start up voltage is a necessity so 65v on the strings that means two panels. the Micro inverter on the other hand can be one panel.

the actual base ( inverter) is cheaper to have the micro inverter. buy one panel and add another later, its kind handy to make a small easy to manage system than have a massive one, this you could put away.

Lets see what you guys have done and what you can come up with as everyone has their own ideas.
