Why 50kwh?
I’m sure you have read all our articles about the reality rather than the myths that are popular held to be factual. You know how to charge your battery, and take care of it to get the most from your battery.
If you have not then head into the main part of this website and do some key word searching.
For power trading, off grid and larger installations the 50kWh  offers a wide range of application for power storage, even for small scale inverters. With low power use you can have days of storage in one battery, or you could view this as a bulk storage for energy trading.
If you have a G98 3.6kw inverter, it can run the inverter at full power for just under 14 hours.
If you have an “average” home (Gov claim not ours) Then you have capacity to run from the battery only for just over a week.

There are a few considerations for batteries of this size: the ability to charge the battery.
For solar summer days, you will want a minimum 6.2kwh of solar + loads. We would recommend a 10kw solar array
For AC charging current over 4 hours of 55 amps.
For DC charging over 4 hours a current of 245amps.

Ideal for those who have high power demands around 30-45kwh per day (16,500 kwh per year) the 50kwh battery is suitable to run more than one inverter and can be paired with other batteries if you need more capacity or you may be energy trading.

Will we offer this in a kit?
While we have the best capacity offer in the UK, and £ for KWH this is the best deal you will find, its not common for people to need this size of battery. You have to think about the weight, its not going to fit into a camper without floor modifications and its not going on a standard shed floor either. If you want a kit you can ask, but you should be able to team items up, and we will flag you if we see a problem.
