Growatt replacement local data monitor. Due to issues with Growatts shinex wifi dongle and server outages, we have our replacement..
We were fed up with waiting for data updates, server outages and no local data, if they went down ( which they do often) then you were without monitoring.
So we have a inverter webpage, a MQTT and Json data so its very flexible for all users.
Easy to set up too. Plug in, log in, give your network settings, reboot and use.. its that’s simple…

We are already working on an update to this device. “coming soon!” but here is the current model.
The dongle is replaced totally with a box with an antenna, the cable from the box goes in to the usb port, you can order with a cable length up to 3 meters.
Better wifi.
The reception was weak on the stock dongle meaning that connections and a stable connection was hard for some people. Our replacement has a cable allowing you to locate away from the inverter, on the wall outside etc this gives a better start and we also have external antenna.
Self contained.
The stock dongle transmits your data to china, this does not transmit anything outside unless you want to. The data is live on the device which provides a number of options of coms. if its down, you have gone down.
it hosts its own website, with MQQT and Json. as well as HTTP and a graph..
the V1 models do not hold data. the totals and daily are stored by the inverter, however the device does not store data, it will cache in a browser
Stand alone
The unit is capable of stand alone function. No internet or wifi required.
The unit will produce its own network (kinda) and you will be able to log in. you will have access to the website where you can see your data.
Better Data.
Our system updates the data live, so no waiting for 5 minutes, its also accurate and it does not make things up as the stock item does…
Data security.
Unlike the stock item which send your data off, this is entirely self contained within your own network. (do not permit off the network)
We don’t record your passwords or data. you control your data.
Integrations.
With IOT HA and other “connected” devices, our replacement offers MTTQ and Json, as well as HTTP.
therefore obtaining key data for your graphs, bill watching or power management is made simple.
