Hardware payments.
When buying hardware, you will be able to pay via the website options, some options have a fee and may offer finance options. The sale of hardware, is normal regardless of any add on services that you may want to have. This means that when you order the hardware it is delivered to you and yours. This has no impact or link or otherwise to any other services; we always keep our labor (services) and hardware (goods) as two separate transactions.
hardware purchased on site, is subject to payment, you shall not own the hardware until such the payment is made good. – failure to pay may result in recovery costs being added.
ACCOUNTS
Please ensure that you have an account with us before you order. While you can proceed as a guest, accounts and orders attached to accounts will have updates and notes on their orders. without an account you will NOT have access even after setting up an account with RenewSolar.
Group buys.
Popular options are the group buys, this is a syndicate purchase where we manage the purchase and import of hardware only.
Typically a price will be published and a schedule of when the transaction will be carried out. Your payment shall be this amount, withstanding that there may be an adjustment either way when the order is ready to process. We may cancel the orders from group buys if there is not enough orders for the purchase. if we have to cancel You will be refunded within 3 days if this is the case. Note that group buys are a service which we manage only.
Labor
Installations, inspections are charged at a daily rate plus costs.
Costs are travel, possible hotel costs and any hire that is required or items required to complete the service.
Invoices shall be paid in 7 days, on the rare occasion you shall pay no more than costs and a single day rate in advance. Normally all service payments are made after the service has been provided.
Consultations
Consultations are paid in advance when you book you consultation, this is non refundable.
Online, via email, web phone, telephone, will not incur travel costs, however face to face may incur travel costs.
Project management.
Often projects start with a consultation and then lead to full project management. Project management fall under the TCC rules and therefore payments shall be made at agreed points within the project. This will be documented and set out for you.
Please be aware that a lot of time goes into the project behind the scenes and out of hours due to the international companies that we deal with.
We are working on your behalf and therefore costs should be met by yourself including the hardware purchase, contractors, and all items or additional services that are required to complete the project.
Payment charges:
Some of the payment options charge fees which are around 3%, to save this amount you can make a direct payment. WE DO NOT take cash payments, unless its a small job and agree to this form of payment in advance.
To make a direct payment, contact us with your order number or select the option in the check out. ( details are provided as you proceed).
The payment charge we incur for card payments shall not be refunded. Direct payment is offered a full refund as per the terms and conditions.
Charges are now included into the the payments you make, for credit, installments, and discounts are offered for direct payment. The fees are none refundable even if you cancel the order.
Refunds:
Consultations are non refundable.
Bespoke or custom orders are non refundable.
Failure to perform, Refunds are undertaken within 24 hours or less.
Hardware (goods) refunds are subject to inspection and return. The refund time may vary from a few days to the day the return arrives.
Service refunds are proportional, depending on the nature of the issue. Typically this can be adjusted on notice (TCC rules) or shall be adjusted prior to the invoice being issued.
Group buy refunds ( failure) is refunded within 24 hours.
Cancelled orders.
Should you cancel any order at any time you may be subject to costs. The reason is that if we order hardware imports, these fees still have to be paid as well as shipping in and out. The process can take a much longer time to process.
If you cancel the order within 2 hours, this is not usually an issue for a full refund depending on the payment method.
If you order via our automatic system (non human) then the process may have already commenced within seconds. in short, if we don’t incur costs and can cancel then we will give the refund as soon as possible. all costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
We may cancel your order. in the event that there is a problem with the order, we may have to cancel the order in part or full, we will offer you an alternative. This is usually out of our control, or for safety or quality reasons. you indemnify us of liabilities should this occur.
General
All transactions, are set out to be fair and protect us both while being reasonable.

Free Delivery.
Free delivery is normally included in the price of the item. some areas of the UK (England) are not covered within the free delivery on certain items while others are. this can prove to be a bit of a problem with multi item orders.
Delivery times vary on items from next day to around 8 weeks.
Prices Shown.
The prices shown on the website should be accurate, items marked with “sale” may be a limited offer, temporary offer and you should check before ordering that they are available, simply email us. The prices include delivery and card payment transaction fees.
Due to the charges for credit, you will see the fee and price adjustment in the payment section of the shopping cart.
We discount direct payments which should be shown in the cart also. Please note all transactions are third party services, save for direct payment( bank transfer).
