Beginner solar kit 500W
Starting out in solar? this is a good little kit for small projects, with a 500w inverter.
The kit has a PWM charge controller with a cheat. this is a buck converter, which lowers the voltage and boosts the current.
The solar panel is a new panel 410w, 38v for use with 24 and 12v systems but can be used in grid tied and other systems as you grow.
The 12v battery is a 100ah with BMS, this will give you 1.2kwh of capacity.
You will need: a multi meter, a screw driver. wire strippers.

Short set up instructions.
Cut the cable provided, you will find each end has a MC4 connection to connect to solar panel.
the other end of the cables go into the dc to dc converter. ensure that they are the correct polarity.
Place the solar panel, and measure the voltage on the output of the DC to DC and set this to 14.6v.
Connect the battery to the charge controller with the breaker.
Connect the DC to DC to the charge controller panel connection.
Connect the cables to the inverter and then the battery.
Do not use the controller load port unless you are using lights ( dc 12v).
Read the manuals and instructions with the devices.
Do not over tighten connections and ensure they are not lose.
