If you are into building your own hardware, then this charge controller kit could be just the thing.
What is it?
For those of you off grid or partly off grid maintaining batteries and ensuring they do not go under volt protection (aka dead) over winter is a paramount concern.
You may have a AIO which you can plug a generator in to charge the battery or you may have access to grid power and want to keep the battery topped off.
The system is automatic and customizable so that you can set the charge and levels to what you need.

How does it work?
There are two options for AC or DC. the AC system has the ability to turn on and off charging at set voltage levels. you set the parameters you want. when you hit a low setting the charger will turn on, and you can set a voltage where the charger turns off. You may want to charge at a time, or to a certain level (SOC). You may want to charge from 24v to 26v, or charge 48v to 52v or any other combo.
You can use the charger to fully charge the battery if required.
How hard is it?
It is simple, we are using modular parts so its just wire connections, no programming or special skills required.
When I say no programming there are settings to set which there are buttons to set the settings.
