Description

Standard solar hybrid system  (4kw, 3.6kw, 10kwh) Hardware and installation.
This kit covers most basic home users power requirement, with 10Kwh of storage and a 3.6kw inverter the system most homes should shave off there peak power use with the added benefit of 4kw of solar to support your charging and day time power requirements.

This kit has a peak limit of 3.6kw and also falls within the G98 specifications therefore the installation process is shorter. We would advise buyers to consider the peak usage to maximize the performance and savings that you can make. You can charge the battery from mains power during winter, which for those with dual tariffs (cheap rate) will benefit from off setting the peak rate costs.

Sunsynk inverter and battery.
Sunsynk are a leading  hardware supplier, not the lowest in price, but they are big on quality.

Longi Bifacial solar panels.
todays tech leaders in solar panels is Longi and the panels supplied are bifacial so you do get a little boost in performance. The panels can be mounted on the roof  or else where to maximize the solar performance. a standard roof mount is included in the cost of this package.

Installation is included.
While you can but self installation kits from RenewSolar, this package comes with installation. The installation general costs are included. However other charges may apply, scaffold hire for example as well as travel costs. Roof reinforcement and out of the ordinary costs.

After purchasing this package we will contact you to arrange installation. Your hardware will be delivery on site before installation.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  The solar panels in this kit are large and your roof must be able to fit the panels.
Your roof size must be 4.6 meters from the top to the bottom and 5.16 meters wide.
If you cannot fit the panels on one side you may need to have optimizers installed at £45 each.
You could add solar to make two arrays on two parts of the roof, please ask about this cost, it is not much more to the total but could make a big difference to system performance.

ROI.
The return on the investment for this solar kit has been carried out at the time of writing. The kWh prices is £0.25 standard rate, cheap rate of £0.07.
Solar yield is based on the single side performance. figures are conservative and based on averaged data available. Actual results depend of a range of factors.

Solar yields
Summer Daily 29.8 kWh
Spring/Autumn 10.2 kWh
Annual yield 5,750 kWh
Solar yield saving  £1,437.50 (ROI 3.8 years)

Battery
Cyclic – Charge £0.70 Saving £1.80 (ROI 8.37 years)
Cyclic Solar £0.00 Saving £2.50 (ROI 6.03 years)

ROI Combined and naturalized: 4.53 Years

Export sales: We have not accounted for any export sales.

What does this mean?
We use a number of factors to work out what you can save and how the system would perform. The idea is to give you a good guide to how long it would take for the system to pay for itself. Our target is 4 years.
The longest time is just using the battery to charge from the grid if you had no solar, and used this power only. This would be 8.37 years, however as you will use solar, you would  save from solar production and also the battery which would greatly reduce the time that the system will pay for itself. The system life span is 15 years, therefore the total saving should be around £14,437 over the that time.
We have not included export sales in the calculation we would estimate this to be between  £ 277 and £738 annually. this will depend on the supplier and time of export to what amount you are paid for your export.
