For many people who visit our website shop, it must appear that you cannot buy a complete system from one place. This is far from true as we have everything and more available. think of RenewSolar as a global importer, but we also build hardware too. So what you see isn’t what you get, you can get a whole lot more.
We are in the process of updating the website shop products to widen the availability of items. This poses quite a few issues, namely pricing and stock as items sell and are used in day to day work here are RenewSolar.
Keep your eyes open for more great offers and hardware.
The bus bars.
We have used all these bus bars in installation and inspected the quality and tested them in the real world.
2 way 150a Bus Bar.
This little bus bar is great to get in small spaces and allows up to 4 connections meaning that if you have an inverter and 3 batteries they can be connected with this little gen. It is a copper bus bar under the zinc coating, and comes in M8 and M10.
I picked the M10 busbar as the weak point in bus bars will always be the connections and therefore a good big connection reduces resistance. When we do put double connections on the pins, we tend to use high quality zinc washers to ensure that the contact surface of the lugs is met at all times. ( giving away tips here).

The 150amp is good for 7kw inverters on 48v systems, and 1.8kw on 12v systems.
4 way 250a. Bus bar
The four way allows a number of connection options. This could be used in a 12 and 24v system, and allows for smaller taps to be used – such as a 12v tap to 12v dc devices – the down side here is that you will lose some of the smaller connections when dealing with lug connections as they just by a hair fit. You can put them back in after.. ( thinking Im going to have to go check this is correct) but the pin length allows for two connections each.
The plastic used in this bus bar is much better, as you know it can take a hit without breaking, its like the softer plastic that you could bend without fracturing. – these are the bus bars I personally use. They are bigger than they look in the photo.

12v 3kw , 24v 6.2kw, 48v 12.7kw
5way 150 amp bus bar.
A little lower powered, but ideal for 48v + systems where you want to connect batteries in parallel and charge controllers as well as the inverter to a single bus bar. link
