For many people they have always leaned toward reviews of batteries which influence their purchases. Andy has commented on Gobal Power cells and battery packs ( thats Andy from off grid garage). We have looked at what they have to offer and the price point and decided that we will offer their products.
What may be interesting is that Gobal power offer two types of cells the standard and the premium, Andy has reported that the cells are well matched which does seem to be their point of sale, as Ellie says that they test the cells to match better to give better performance and capacity. The Eve 280LK providing 304ah within the pack, which is fairly normal for premium battery cells and which most of our packs already have on offer.
We will be offering lifepo4 cells (LFP) from a range of manufactures as we use the same cell brands in our battery packs in any event. The catch here is the delay as Gobal power will only ship to the UK from China. This is due to Brexit. This poses an issue as we have to work out the shipping, duties and taxes to get the items from china to your door. Typically this is just shy of £300 but will depend on orders and volume.
Cell prices are going to be one of the best in the UK as you would expect from RenewSolar. We will also hash out the warranty and quality with Gobal Power to ensure that you get what you paid for and were sold. However as you know China and the UK have very different laws and customer service levels when it comes to products.
They do offer a Free 30 day return policy already which is helpful to most people however, with the shipping delays, which can be around 70 days! its important to have a working product and any defects are resolved within a short timeframe.
Normally and depending on which battery you buy from RenewSolar, there will be different levels of service, for example quiet a few of the batteries we offer, have a 24 hour collect and return repair service. This means if there is an issue with the battery, it is collected, repaired and returned without cost to you.
We also provide support and repairs, This means that you can send your battery or request a call out to deal with the issue and in around a week your going to be up and running. Or you can have parts replaced in a few days if you can do the repair and diagnosis yourself that is.
From time to time we do random pull checks, this means that where items are sold we will and do test them and check for quality and performance. This is done to ensure that companies are not cutting corners and ripping us off. We do this will all products and any issues should be reported to us as soon as you become aware of any issues.
We do immediately stop any sales and will post any defects or problems with any supplier including customer services, repairs, delivery issues and poor quality and risks.

Battery packs.
Gobal power offer a range of battery packs in tower and rack configs, this would suit most home users, they do offer ABS ( truck batteries). You will find a list of battery packs and prices within the shop. it will take us some time to add all the battery options and the cells. please feel free to contact us if you do not see it.
