Every year or so we tender the market for battery storage for home energy storage systems, we take on Samples from leading suppliers so that our longer term and newer partner companies can lower the prices, up the market and meet the high standards that we have for your batteries.
RenewSolar is the UK lowest price battery supplier saving you more than 40% from other like for like battery solutions. We have a history of crashing the market in the UK due to our unique business planning and way in which we work for our clients. This of course lead to a 70% reduction in the market costs for battery storage systems.
We have stripped our website of most of the items which you have come to love and respect, and we are moving forwards to smash records and prices again.

Current figures are promising as we unleashed our <£65 kWh battery, and it looks as if we may be doubling capacity for the same cost… We are currently looking at a new range of mid range battery systems ( thats upper end in the common retail market) But they may be able to double for your money. It may not be, but its going to be close.
When you have planed your solar install and sent off your G99 Application, then before you do, you may want to order the battery from RenewSolar so it arrives on time. We have always sold out of battery stock quickly due to the high quality and low prices. We expect more than a 20 day wait for batteries depending on demand but this may extend as we go into March to double time..
The Battery line up
Battery line up or categories tend to fall into 3 parts, Budget, which is cutting corners and not quality, Here your going to get the “it works and does what it should” Less features and low cost.
The middle range, will have the bells and whistles, Brand cells, Full test reports, Brand BMS, collect and return warranty, higher quality cases and options. These may come in the same price as others sell cheap batteries for.
The upper range will be the big boys, with wifi blue tooth, all branded hardware and the latest These will be reasonably priced but probably less than most other suppliers, some maybe a little more. but you get warranty and support as well as the collect and return.
There are two buyers, most want an affordable solution that represents good value. There are others than want the bells and whistle and fully integrated systems and a properly set up battery which will last decades. In between there, are those who want some thing plain and those who want something a little flashy.
We of course will still make our custom batteries as well as recycled batteries.
We will be bringing forward our HV batteries as they are becoming more mainstream, Therefore its important to check the system voltage and the battery voltage. There is a big difference in the voltages, as most are around 55v (48v-51v) where as the high voltage batteries will be between 362v and 464v
You will see larger capacity battery packs. As tech moves forward there has been a lot of production of “older tech”, which for most of us, it last years top of the line. But prices have dropped as the shine has worn off meaning that now you pay less for yesterdays top tech. This just translates to big savings.
Rory Witham CTC of RenewSolar said; ” we have seen some recent developments and big jumps forward in battery tech, this means that the old tech is now old, to give you some idea, a single part was £165 and is now just £47.
Its not that is out of date tech or defective they carried out some minor upgrades and the result created a big change in whats hot. It is very much like fashion and bragging rights. But if you want something that work and works well. Then its all good!”
With the wars … trade wars, we are hoping to be the first to hit £50kWh by the end of 2026 or sooner. we are already offering battery storage for £65 and change Rory added.
Can we still order our older batteries?
If you want to order friends for your previous batteries from RenewSolar. You can order the same battery, Contact us with your Order number. There is a option to allow you to upgrade, but if you want to balance with the same capacity, or adjusted capacity, then we can do this as well.
You can pair some of the batteries with new larger capacity battery systems. With the new “Smarts” you just put your new battery as master and they will tell the old ones what to do.
