Here comes the time of year when we prepare to adjust the alignments for winter.
Each year the sun rises and falls in the sky meaning that the panels need to be adjusted and we are noticing the power performance difference of our two solar arrays.
We have a summer array, which is almost horizontal and a winter array which is almost vertical but is adjusted in the summer to be around 45 degrees. we also have a time off set between the arrays for the summer to make the most of the power generation over the day.
Those of you with a ” Peak Time off set” will have notice the gradual 3.25 minute changes , but it will shortly be time to move into the winter positions as we now head in to autumn and that narrowing arc.
