RenewSolar is a not for profit business and we are not limited to certain supply chains, We are also an importer of products as well as design our own hardware and software. Due to the fluid market and prices, it would require a team of staff to keep the website shop up to date with stock and prices, rather than off load this on our customers and while trying to keep the website up to date there is a compromise between the two.

If you are looking for something that you cannot find in the shop or anywhere else on line, Contact us via email and we can hunt down items, products and services for you. This is not a free service. As you can imagine many people want many things and due to “time wasters” we offer a consultancy and project management service. There are a lot of benefits which come with the service. Such as discounts on hardware and a personal service.

Why are your prices low?
We are a not for profit business, this is the main reason why our prices are low, but we also work with other partner businesses who have the same ethics. Because we do not do a lot of fancy stuff, and we do not buy within the supply chain, we do not have to feed so many hands that hardware passes through. Therefore the price is reduced. The business is not a retail business, rather a sale facilitator. We know our hardware and suppliers which means that we can import hardware which lowers the costs by up to 70%. Its not that our hardware is cheap, its that we are not ripping you off, and we are keeping our cost down.

Are there hidden fees and charges?
No, check out the terms and conditions as we do charge if you cancel the order. Most of the solar kits do not come with mounting options, this is due to the variable of where people could mount the panels.
You will pay more for payments using a card, this is due to the charges they put on us, the same for Klarna which adds even more. If you want to save money then pay with the direct transfer, or and get us involved in project management.

How long is delivery?
Free Delivery is of course not free it is included into the price. Depending on how you order and pay, once funds are cleared the items are shipped. There is some variables to this, if we have to order items in, build items and such like. Mostly you will find items are within a week. big items and complete kits vary, so up to 8 weeks would be a good figure to work with.

How is consultancy or project management better for me?
As RenewSolar is not for profit, there are little admin fees added to items, the costs vary depending on what they are, for example we test the hardware, which means investing and of course a cost which has to be recovered. When you project manage your paying for time, therefore the costs are paid and therefore you can get access to our wider knowledge base and our direct connection with suppliers. You will save more that the cost of the project management for sure. But not only this you get access to a much wider and cost effective range of hardware and should have zero stress.
