Building batteries may be a cost saving for some and in this day and age it is hard work as prices have dropped.
To make a cost effective battery we teamed up with leading suppliers to bring you the best we can find to make the best battery you can make.
Vertical battery case – Steel battery case finished in white. – Left side is the coms, right side is you standardised battery connections (for lugs).
Front of case – 4.3″ touch screen display. While you could save a little on the BMS system, We chose the JK V19 Bms with Touch screen display for that modern look. 2 amp active balance to keep your battery in good shape, with a 200a continuous discharge.
Cells – Low cost cells with 5 year warranty, this is the biggest saving with the lowest cost 314ah cells. We are looking at changing these to EVE MB31 cells – so do ask.

How easy is it to build your own battery?
Building the battery is fairly simple – just ensure that you align the + and – correctly. there are online videos on how to make the battery.
You need to take care to not short the battery ( connect + -) while building, and ensure that you are following the wires correctly, the balance cables tend to have all the same colours making it a little bit more of a chore..
These are kits build for building and you will find that your anticipation and fears are overly cautious which you will find after your first build. It shouldn’t take more than 2 hours
Does RenewSolar build batteries?
We build a wide range of batteries, custom batteries and we sell and retail batteries. For most, we would suggest the retail route of our standard sales due to the extra warranty and support. ( check what your buying).
Most of our battery sold are from our retail partners, they make ready made battery systems, we tend to make custom small and large batteries for special purpose, for example or .55kwh batteries for remote users or portable power battery pack extensions. our 44kwh HV batteries are custom made,
How long will it take to have the kit delivered?
About a week to 10 days, If we do not have stock of cases it can take longer. We tend to not keep many cases in stock due to the size of them.
Can I collect? Sure. We will get your order ready for your collection, if you pick “local pick up”. we will arrange and left you know when the order is ready for collection. You can collect up to 22:00 and from 08:30.
