The Victron energy inverter charger units are popular with most due to the cult like following and pretty much what is one of the first answers when asking enthusiasts what is there favored inverter? The next “top” inverter is Sunsynk, and we will be doing more of those kits soon.
Victron’s multiplus II is a low frequency inverter, meaning its great for inductive loads. Where as most other inverters use high frequency. great for resistive loads.
While this is a kit being sold by RenewSolar We are not bias and give you fair information. The Victron buyer should be aware of the “eco system” where your buying into the brand. The multiplus II may appear a good price but you also have to factor in its short comings and the fact it does not have a MPPT built in. This adds cost to the project along with the specialist programming and tools required.~
It is costly and the value here is more of a minds eye than a practical exercise and system cost can add up if you want the blue brand over many other good options.

The Kit.
The kits simple, it comes with the Victron multiplus II which is a 48v inverter charger 5Kva/ (4000w).
RenewSolar include a 15kWh battery, and they communicate.
You can add more inverters if you need to the battery, this may be the case if you require more power for peak loads within your home. 5kvA means that the inverter is 4kw, but you can pair/link more than one inverter with the battery, I would say up to 3 Victron 5kva inverters can be connected to our single battery.
This kit will require a pre approved G99 application from your DNO. Not very hard to complete, but a little more than the G98 application.
