Solar mounting Flat roof base 3

Base kit 3 is the flat roof level frame mounting option, with 3 sets of rubber feet and swivel brackets allowing you to mount your solar panels of a roof without breaching the surface.

Cut your uprights, and use the brackets to join the alignment rails, add the uprights, and the swivel joints to the panel rails to allow you to have tilt. you can find this in our shop.

Using this option will form a base frame 65mm from the roof to allow for run off. You should place rails across to sure up and to allow you to add ballast to keep the panels on the roof, we do offer Baskets which run the length and can hold ballast off the roof.

You would use 40×40 frames available in lengths 2.4m 3m,3.3m, and 6m.

I have noticed that I have put the swivel joints up side down.
I shall explain how they fit work; the base can be used to fit panels level or flat, where you would place the feet together with a link frame ( a bit of metal the right length) you would have small uprights with the included bracket connecting the link frame.
However it makes sense to angle the panel, for better performance and run off. The up right can be a different length which causes the angle.
on the upright the minimum height from the foot top is the top part ( as shown) of the swivel which would go down when fitted to the upright.
The flat base of the swivel would have your top rail fitted, on which the solar rails can be mounted making a grid as it were..
