If you have thought about solar or have a grid tied system but wanted to switch to a hybrid this may be the kit for you.
48v 3000kva inverter
2kw of solar
5.12kw battery.
£2,534.
When you are grid tied, during the summer you probably have noticed that you are exporting power to the grid, which you could have stored within your battery to power your home over night. I am fairly sure that you would have wanted to save £438 a year on your power bill.
If you have solar already then you should contact us as this kit comes with solar panels and mounting system that you wont need to buy again, so you will get this packaged kit for less.
we can shave off about £200 by changing the charge controller too, unfortunately Victron inverters do not come with a PV charge controller, which in most cases costs as much as a complete AIO systems from other manufactures.
The kit here is fairly conservative in that you have 2.4kw of output from the hybrid inverter, but you get the additional functions available from the Victron unit. with a 5.12kwh battery (£750) you could reasonably upgrade the system to have over 10 kWh of battery storage.
For most homes, the general power allowed here is more than enough for most homes, in fact it was the limit for homes in Italy, from their grid supply. So you may find that you meet all your needs bar a few times with the oven and kettle on at the same time.
One of the smart things here is that when the grid goes down, you could have power. and there is a nice value in being smug with the lights and tv on as well as the internet while others walk around with torches and mobile internet until they cannot charge their phones… (sounds a bit evil)…
With a normal load of around 350w, you will have a run time of around 14 hours, which is enough to last most homes over night even in winter. But for many the run time is going to be around 19 hours. This is on the packaged battery which has 5.12kWh of storage. You could of course have a generator or another battery, this will give you that charge if it is winter when the power is out and there is a lack of solar and give you more loads you can have on..
There are a few other things that you may need that are not included, or there may be extras that may need to be removed, but if you would like to contact us for a package for you, then what’s stopping you?

While the image shows a 24v inverter this is the 48v one. Seeing the images when writing, they are tiny.
You can upgrade to the 5kw inverter and add batteries to make the system work for you.
