A few years ago a 5kWh battery was pretty good and we introduced the 10kWh battery and 15kWh which is more recent. As some may know we offer a very wide range of battery for commercial battery systems, but there is not much call for a 130kWh home battery.
Battery prices do not scale well as you down size and therefore it is important to get the best prices and the best hardware. That is a given when you buy from us. But buying at the best price is far and few between. RenewSolar was the first UK supplier to drop battery prices by a massive 75% and still keep pushing the market to make solar affordable to more people around the world.

It is important to know that different format batteries can differ in price depending on the format you need. the second part of this consideration is weight. large batteries are very heavy and therefore you options could be limited on where you can place the battery as well as the space that they take up.

Our suppliers are making a variable range of batteries and we are trying to match up system spec and requirements for most roles where a battery is important. However not everyone is just looking to cover their home use which can vary the type and configuration of the battery or batteries.
Please keep in mind that batteries and inverters should be matched in terms of power and performance as well as charge capacity and load to the discharge. – its fairly simple but people do miss a lot of important factors.
